Check Out If Your Blog is being Hacked and Exploited

Hackers search for compromised sites and use many ways to insert hundreds of hidden spam links into trusted web pages. They target blogs, forums, CMS, image galleries and wikis.

Web site owners are unaware that their sites are hacked and infected with parasites. While the parasites are hidden from human web surfers, they are visible to Google and other search engines.

UnmaskParasites scans your blog for spam links and malicious scripts. it also provides you with an option to run quick site-wide Google searches and check for hidden commonly-used spam links.

Simple Google searches can also reveal thousands of infected web sites. You can use the command in Google search engine as follow :-

"KEYWORD TO SEARCH IN GOOGLE" site:YOUR BLOG URL

Example:

"powered by WordPress" "Equity florida home in loan" "Va home"
"powered by WordPress" "Equity home loan massachusetts rate" "Bad credit"

Get Free Gmail Stickers Designed by Gmail engineers

One of the Gmail engineers broke out her vinyl cutter and made some Gmail m-velope stickers. They were pasted on the desks, stuck on laptops, and adorning the walls around the office. People in the office started to like the stickers, and realized other people might like them too.

So they designed some more, and printed up a whole bunch.

And there's a sheet of keyboard shortcut stickers intended as a tool to help people learn Gmail's shortcuts.

So how do you get your stickers? Just send a self-addressed stamped envelope (along with a note if you're so inclined) to:

Send me some Gmail stickers already
P.O. Box 391420
Mountain View, CA 94039-1420

Make sure to include enough postage to return a sticker pack via U.S. mail. It's less than one ounce, so a standard $0.42 stamp will do if you're in the United States; enclose an international reply coupon (IRC) if you're outside of the U.S. And be sure to send your envelope in soon -- one per person please.

The New Google Audio Indexing (GAUDI) - Find spoken words inside Videos

Google Audio Indexing is a new technology from Google that allows users to better search and watch videos from various YouTube channels. It uses speech technology to find spoken words inside videos and lets the user jump to the right portion of the video where these words are spoken.

With Google Audio Indexing, you can use speech technology to find videos and to search for spoken content inside a video.

What video content can I search?

Google Audio Indexing searches only those videos uploaded on the YouTube political channels. If a video is on the YouTube political channels, it will be in the index.

Candidates control the video content released to the public using Google Audio Indexing technology by controlling the content they upload to YouTube channels.

    Searching for videos

To find a set of videos, simply type a query in the search box and press the "Search videos" button. The results of your search will appear in the left column. You can refine your search using channel filters, the active filter showing in bold. A channel filter corresponds to one or more YouTube channels. In the context of the US election, you can choose videos from the McCain channel, the Obama channel or from all YouTube political channels. For each result, we provide a thumbnail of the video, its title, the time since it was published, the duration and the number of times the query terms are mentioned (i.e. spoken) in the video. By clicking on a result, the video will be displayed in the right column. If you need to see more results, you can navigate between result pages using the links at the bottom of the left column (previous, next, etc.), just like on most Google Search products.

    Searching inside a video

With Google Audio Indexing, you can also restrict your search to the content of a given video. By default, the "Search inside this video" uses the same query term as the video search.
To search for a different term, just type your query in the text form under the video player and press the "Search within this video" button. The mention results are displayed underneath. The yellow markers on the timeline are updated accordingly and you can access the information just like before, using mouse over.

Make your content to be "speech-searchable" in Youtube

All served videos come from YouTube channels. You should first upload your content to YouTube. See the YouTube "Contact Us" page for more information. You can also send us an email at labs+gaudi@google.com.

Google implement mobile blogging with Blogger

Text messaging-enabled mobile device with a text messaging plan. This service is free from Google. You can blog from your mobile, all you need is to snap a photo and send an mms to Google.

Using Blogger Mobile is easy: Snap a photo and write some text on your mobile phone, send it to go@alpha.blogger.com , and it gets posted to your mobile blog!

    How does Blogger Mobile work?

You send a message - which can be a photo, some text, or both - to go@blogger.com. We take care of the rest. In other words, we auto-provision a new blog and publish the post. It's that simple.

Here's how to start a mobile blog:

    1. Send an MMS to go@blogger.com to create your mobile blog. The text and/or photo in your MMS will be uploaded to that blog right away. Google will message you back with the address, (so you can visit your new blog on the web) and a token (so you can claim your blog and access it from your account).

    2. If you feel like changing anything on your new mobile blog or if you already have a Blogger account and want the posts to go to your existing blog, you can log in to go.blogger.com and enter the token we sent to your phone. You'll then have the option to claim your new mobile blog and merge it with your existing blog. Note to users whose blog address does not contain blogspot.com: Once you make the aforementioned switch, new mobile posts will be published to your chosen blog but mobile posts published prior to the switch will not be moved over automatically.

Blogger Mobile is also built into some Sony Ericsson cameraphones, so you can post to your blog with just a few clicks.

iPhone users: Phones without MMS can still post to Blogger via email with Mail2Blogger.

Change the Theme of your New Google Chrome

Want to change your Google Chrome Themes? No button to click and automaticly install your themes? Google Chrome does not allow you to change the theme by default. But no worries, I'm here to teach you how to tweak your new Google Chrome.

All you need to do is to download your own Google Chrome themes. You can google for it or you can visit the sites below.

    FreeChromeThemes.com
    GetChromeThemes.com
    MyChromeThemes.com
    ChromeSpot.com

After you have downloaded your Google Chrome themes. The next step is to extract the “default.dll” file

    For Windows XP users

    Extract it to : C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application.2.149.27\Themes\

    For Windows Vista users

    Extract it to : C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\0.2.149.27\Themes\

Restart your Google Chrome. You should see your new theme now.

    Other methods

If you find the steps above too complicated. Read on.

Use XChrome, XChrome is a theme manager for Googles Chrome browser, it allows users to install a skin in seconds without having to move default.dll around and it allows you to view the author and various other details before installing.

XChrome also allows users who do not have XChrome install to install themes by double clicking the themes .exe file, they are prompted to install the theme, they agree the theme is copied to Chromes Default.dll

    Download Now!

    Install and run instructions:

    1. Download the .zip file and extract it’s contents
    2. Make sure your Google Chrome browser is close and run Xchrome.exe
    3. Select the theme from th left menu of available themes and click “Install Theme”
    4. To add new themes simply run the Theme packer and specify the path to default.dll for the theme, or use the already packed executable ones.

Notes: XChrome is still in Beta, so bugs may appear. Also XChrome uses certain processes like registry editing, file copying and others which may cause Antivirus think it’s a virus, so just disregard it.
